The angle brackets are responsible for protecting the corners of the glass, whose parts are more vulnerable and susceptible to damage.
The shims are applied to the sides and/or faces of the glass in order to ensure its integrity against dangers present in its transport and handling, such as impacts and surface damage.
The rubberized separators are also applied on the face of the glass and, like the shims, prevent one glass from damaging the other during transport.
